The St. Petersburg Times reported on the ‘postal confusion’ and it’s been picked up and repeated
over and over. There’s no confusion in Pinellas County, where East Lake is the well-known seat of

The recently adopted school choice plan opens many different educational options for East Lake
students, including magnet schools that focus on specialized curricula and fundamental schools
that concentrate on teaching the fundamentals of education.

is solid, with the unemployment rate well below the national average, and the neighborhoods are
stable – 43% of those living in East Lake were living in the same house five years ago.
